About Our Directors:

Jami Sauls - Head Director of Theatre

Jami Sauls has been teaching Theatre for 20 wonderful years.  She received her training from Texas State University, where she earned a BFA in Theatre Education and a BFA in Theatre Directing. Mrs. Sauls is extremely passionate about the art of Theatre, and even more passionate about student growth and achievement.  She delights in pushing kids to do their very best, and seeing them accomplish what they never thought possible is the ultimate reward.

In her 20 years of education, Mrs. Sauls has a track record of success.  Her achievements include multiple DSM High School Musical Theatre Award nominations and wins, multiple Main Stage Qualifiers at the Texas Thespian Festival, and multiple State and National Qualifiers in International Thespian Society events as well as TFA State and NFL qualifying events.  Mrs. Sauls has also had a great deal of success in UIL, including back to back State Champions in Prose, one State Championship in Film, and is proudly a UIL One Act Play State Director, where she and her company earned Best Actor in the State of Texas.

Mrs. Sauls is so excited to be here at Frisco High School, and is ready to have a wonderful year!

Lisa Custer - Tech Director of Theatre

Lisa Custer got her Theatre degree and teacher certification from University of Texas in Austin and a Communication Studies Degree from University of North Texas.  She is married to the most wonderful man on the planet, Jason, and has 2 incredible children - Kaitlyn is 18 and Knox is 6.

She LOVES to teach and Theatre is her favorite vehicle.  She is a major sports fan (Dallas teams are her jam) and when she can, she reads, plays golf and (most importantly) travels!  She hosts trips all over the world every summer and loves to see Theatre everywhere she goes.

She is VERY excited to be reunited with Saulsy and become a FHS THEATRE RACCOON!
